BEAT HUNGER

Clive Leighton of Public-i Music Events and Media has just recently returned from Malawi where he witnessed the incredible achievements that the relief agencies are pioneering in one of the most remote parts of the planet. Inspired to empower these children, we are appealing for support to enable us to create:

Beat Hunger

in support of Malawi's children

Public-i Music Events & Media is establishing initiatives and events in support of feeding Malawi's children. Around £6 feeds a child for a year. The ambition is to provide EVERY Malawian child with lunch EVERY SCHOOL DAY - irrespective of race, religion, creed, colour, size or shape. With 3.5 million children in Malawi we need £21 Million per year.

Malawi's life expectancy is 39

90% of malaria deaths are under 5

1 in 5 adults is HIV, increasing child vulnerability

But it's not all doom and gloom. We're all aware it's bad over there. So let's move on. Celebrating the positive steps already taken, Public-i want to build on that success and optimism. With you and lots of you on board we will genuinely change the past and give these children the best present ever...a future.

You can forward on emails, provide reciprocal website links, organise events, be a website administrator, give money/ time/ talent or support in any way it suits you personally.

Public-i are literally at the outset of this project and are simultaneously collecting names and planting seeds across a variety of initiatives and projects; with the intention to partner off the supply and demand of people to projects and to build on these foundations organically. Please register any interest you have by emailing CEO Clive Leighton directly on clive@public-i.org.uk to get acquainted and get the ball rolling.
